Don’t look now, but the Titans have won five in a row SU and ATS. So maybe this week’s Sunday Night Football clash will be more competitive than the double-digit spread might indicate.

Los Angeles Rams vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Opening line: Buccaneers -2.5; Over/Under 43
Time: 4:25 p.m. ET Sunday (CBS)

UPDATE 10 P.M. ET SUNDAY: These two teams met in the NFC Divisional Round last season, with Los Angeles claiming a 30-27 victory as a 2.5-point road underdog. The Rams went on to beat the 49ers for the NFC title, then topped the Bengals in the Super Bowl.

However, Los Angeles is 3-4 SU and 2-5 ATS this season, including two losses to the aforementioned Niners. In Week 8, the Rams held a 14-10 halftime lead as 1-point favorites against San Francisco. But L.A. didn’t score again, losing 31-14.

Meanwhile, Tom Brady and the Bucs have dumped five of six SU and six in a row ATS. In the Week 8 Thursday nighter, Tampa Bay (3-5 SU, 2-6 ATS) closed as a 2.5-point home chalk and lost to Baltimore 27-22.

They opened the Bucs -2.5 after watching the Rams collapse in the second half of their loss to the 49ers, sportsbook directors said. Both of these teams have been hugely disappointing so far this season, but the Bucs are still right in the mix in the NFC South.

The total nudged down a tick to 42.5.

Buffalo Bills vs New York Jets

Opening line: Bills -11.5; Over/Under 46.5
Time: 1 p.m. ET Sunday (CBS)

UPDATE 10 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Buffalo (6-1 SU, 5-1-1 ATS) continues to play well in the role of Super Bowl favorite. The Bills, playing in the Week 8 Sunday nighter, jumped out to a 24-7 halftime lead and coasted to a 27-17 victory. But Buffalo failed to cash as a 10.5-point home favorite.

New York (5-3 SU and ATS) had its fans pretty excited and Jets bettors certainly pleased with a four-game SU and ATS run. But that surge ended in Week 8.

Zach Wilson and Co. led New England 10-6 at halftime, bud didn’t score again until getting a TD inside the final two minutes of the game. New York fell 27-22 as a 3-point home ‘dog.

sSportsbook directors opened the Bills -11.5 and closed it when the [Packers-Bills] Sunday night game kicked..  As well as the Jets have played during the first half of the season, they still don’t get much respect in the betting markets, as evidenced by them closing +3 at home today against the Patriots. Buffalo is the best team in the NFL. We know where the money will be coming in here.

Philadelphia Eagles vs Houston Texans

Opening line: Eagles -13; Over/Under 43
Time: 8:15 p.m. ET Thursday (Prime Video

UPDATE 10 P.M. ET SUNDAY: It’s another not-so-riveting Thursday Night Football matchup, but at least it includes undefeated Philadelphia (7-0 SU, 5-2 ATS). In Week 8, the Eagles rolled over Pittsburgh 35-13 laying 11 points at home.

Houston (1-5-1 SU, 3-3-1 ATS) is in the basement of the AFC. In Week 8, the Texans were 1.5-point home pups and lost to Tennessee 17-10.

Sportsbook directors opened the Eagles -13, knowing the public action will be a one-way flood of money on Philly. I do think Philadelphia is the best team in the NFC they say, but It will be interesting to see the outcome when they play a team with both a pulse and a healthy starting QB.”

That’s not the case this week. The line and total are stable tonight on The SuperBook’s NFL Week 9 odds board.

Los Angeles Chargers vs Atlanta Falcons

Opening line: Chargers -3; Over/Under 48.5
Time: 1 p.m. ET Sunday (FOX)

UPDATE 10 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Atlanta (4-4 SU, 6-2 ATS) has been much better than expected this season, and in fact covered in its first six games. In Week 8, the Falcons outlasted Carolina 37-34 in overtime, but failed to cover as 4.5-point home faves. Atlanta is actually atop the mediocre NFC South at this point.

Los Angeles (4-3 SU and ATS) was a trendy offseason pick in Super Bowl odds, but finds itself just a game above .500. The Chargers are coming off their bye, after a 37-23 home loss giving 4.5 points to Seattle.

Baltimore Ravens vs New Orleans Saints

Opening line: Ravens -3; Over/Under 48
Time: 8:15 p.m. ET Monday (ESPN)

UPDATE 10 P.M. ET SUNDAY: It took eight weeks, but Baltimore (5-3 SU, 3-4-1 ATS) finally strung together two consecutive wins. Playing in the Week 8 Thursday nighter, the Ravens topped Tampa Bay 27-22 catching 2.5 points on the road.

New Orleans (3-5 SU and ATS) hasn’t been much to talk about this season, but its third win was impressive. The Saints, getting 1.5 points at home, blanked the Raiders 24-0.

Sportsbook directors opened the Ravens -3 here, although they do admit that they were impressed with the Saints’ defense Sunday.  The Ravens have played to a high power rating all season and have three extra days off to prepare, after the win on Thursday night. The public will be squarely on Baltimore here.”

Neither the line nor total moved.
