The battle of the Keystone State starts in the preseason with the Philadelphia Eagles hosting the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The Steelers came alive in the second half of the Hall of Fame game beating the Dallas Cowboys 16-3. Ben Roethlisberger did not play in the game, and I would think he will not play in this one. He is in his last season for his Hall of Fame career and in a preseason game look for the backups to get most of the snaps.

The Eagles have a new head coach in Nick Sirianni and second year QB Jalen Hurts will be the starter with Carson Wentz now in Indianapolis. The team has talent and is in the murky NFC East and there is a lot of pressure on Hurts in his first season as the starter.

The team is high on first round draft pick Najee Harris but he only rushed for 22 yards on seven carries in the win over Dallas. The RB duo of Jaylen Samuels and Kalen Ballage combined to rush for 39 yards on 16 carries in the game. Look for Mike Tomlin, who is in his 15th season and has never had a losing record, to establish the run, as they will need a run game with Big Ben in his swan song.

Last season the Steelers ranked dead last in the NFL in rushing offense and in the 16-3 win over Dallas in the Hall of Fame game they only rushed for 76 yards.

The Eagles Coach will be coaching his first game which will give the Eagles a little more incentive to get a W.
