Coming into the playoffs, not many believed the Braves would be in the playoffs, but they are only four wins away from winning the World Series. The Braves were able to beat the Dodgers 4-2 in the last series, and in Game 6 they were able to win 4-2. It was Eddie Rosario that hit a three run home run that was the difference as they came away with the victory. Rosario has had a big playoffs hitting three home runs and driving in 11 RBI’s. Joc Pederson has also had a big series hitting three home runs and driving in nine RBI’s. Four different players have hit three home runs, and it’s going to need to be the offense that finds success again in this game.
On the other side of this matchup is the Houston Astros who are coming off a 4-2 series win against the Boston Red Sox. The Astros last game was on Friday, and the Astros were able to win 5-0. Kyle Tucker was the difference maker in the last game driving in three runs. Tucker has been the best player hitting four home runs and driving in 15 RBI’s. Yordan Alveraz has also had a big postseason putting up two home runs and driving in nine RBI’s.
Getting the start for the Braves will be Charlie Morton who has been a bit inconsistent this postseason. In his last start against the Dodgers he went five innings giving up three hits and two runs.
Getting the start for the Astros will be Framber Valdez and he has also been inconsistent this postseason, In two of the starts he gave up at least three runs, but in the last start he went six innings giving up three hits and one run.
