Last season’s NFL Picks were superstrong thanks to tailing the LA Rams many times. We cashed in on both Rams Totals and sides when betting the Rams last year. This Season, making NFL Picks within this division may be a bit harder as all the teams in the division are much better than in recent years.
There are a ton of reasons for Rams fans to be excited for the upcoming year. The offense features one of the best Running Backs in the game in Todd Gurley. Jared Goff (QB) will be in his third year and looking to improve on a strong season. The futures odds reflect this with a Divisional title at -125 (BetOnline), Conference title 650 (BetOnline), and Super Bowl Champions 1300 (5Dimes).
While the win total of 9.5 may seem low, only five teams won double digit games in consecutive seasons over the last three years. Some spectators may suffer from “Patriots Syndrome” or “Warriors Disease”. These teams are unique cases of dominance. It is very hard to achieve success in consecutive years.

Note: The Rams do not leave the state of California until week five. The Rams get to play Minnesota in week four during a Thursday night showdown. The Rams could have a really strong rest advantage for this game.

OVER/UNDER TOTAL WINS 10
I really like the Rams talent on paper. I also really like the other teams in this NFC West. None of the divisional games are going to be cake walks. The middle of the Los Angeles Rams schedule is a nightmare. This is a hard decision to pick either side to the Rams win total. They should win the division but making NFL picks within this division is hard this year. All the teams are better than in recent years.
Due to the difficulty of winning double digit games in back to back seasons, I do not want to be paying a premium for the Rams win total. I still do not trust Jared Goff during crunch time, Todd Gurley has gone over 300 touches in the past two seasons, and they brought in three of the biggest trouble makers in the NFL. It could take some time for this defense to gel and with the brutal stretch in their schedule during the middle of the season, I am not confident this team can above 10 wins for a second straight season.
