By the time this week comes to an end, we will officially be in March. While once the “madness” truly comes and conference tournaments get underway, the action will fly by, there’s still a good amount of basketball left to be played before that.

Over the next couple weeks, teams will put some of the final touches on their NCAA Tournament résumés. In the case of the North Carolina Tar Heels women, it will be about making their case for hosting the first two rounds, and maybe even sneaking out a top 2 seed in a region. For the men, they’re just hoping to make the tournament at all.
