Highest CFL Win Total: Calgary Stampeders

The Calgary Stampeders own the highest win total at 12.5 (EVEN/-130), which should not be a surprise to CFL fans. The Stampeders return most of a roster that was dominant both on offense and on defense a season ago.

In addition, Calgary has consistently been one of the best teams in the CFL for the past several years with the squad winning at least 12 games in each of the past six seasons. In fact, the last time the Stamps failed to hit double-digit wins came in 2007 – a team that featured Henry Burris throwing the ball to Jermaine Copeland.

Though a few pieces have left the roster over the offseason – particularly running back Jerome Messam – there is little doubt that the Stampeders are one of the most well-rounded teams in the CFL. And as long as Bo Levi Mitchell is at quarterback, the Stamps can win any game.

Lowest CFL Win Total: Montreal Alouettes

The Montreal Alouettes are still trying to figure out life after Anthony Calvillo. Since Calvillo retired in 2013, the Als have started 11 different quarterbacks. That number will likely increase this season with Drew Willy, Matt Shiltz, Antonio Pipkin and Garrett Fugate all competing for the starting job.

As you would expect from a team that went 3-15 last season and has no clue who is going to be playing quarterback, the Alouettes have the lowest win total in the CFL this season – set at 5.5 (-125/-105).

Talent is sparse for the Als on offense – outside of B.J. Cunningham – and it will take a monumental effort from new head coach Mike Sherman (yes, THAT Mike Sherman) to get a terrible offense clicking enough to even be competitive.
